Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend a ‘Save Soil Movement’ function at Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan on Sunday (June 5), in honor of World Environment Day, the Prime Minister’s Office said on Saturday. During the presentation, the Prime Minister will also speak to the audience.
The ‘Save Soil Movement‘ is a global campaign to raise awareness about declining soil health and to encourage people to take action to improve it.
Sadhguru began the movement in March 2022, when he set out on a 100-day motorbike ride that took him through 27 nations. On June 5, the 100-day trip reaches its 75th day. The involvement of the Prime Minister in the initiative would demonstrate the common concerns and commitment to improving India’s soil health.
Every year on June 5th, World Environment Day is commemorated. It provides a global forum for promoting constructive environmental action. It also encourages people to consider what they consume from the ecosystem, allowing them to contribute to a greener future.
